C1. Things to consider 🥌

I would like to speak my mind from the standpoint of “sleeper” community.

• If C1 X1 = then dualbox
• If C1 x2 = payed dualbox
• If none of the above = p2p system for any box (3$/mo as an example)

Consider taking the risk and wisely updating the old model of “hardcore”. If p2p creates a lot of issues, then allow people to dualbox.
One of the reasons why project got up to 80+ppl back in the days (l2anima) is dualbox or even triplebox as I remember. Yes, triple is too much and dual also not sexy, but at least give people a choice to purchase this option.

p.s. Btw - create ENG section please. I bet some strangers would like to use forum as well, instead of discord spyware. Thank you & GL

Purpose of multibox? To have buffs? But this is not unique to you. Everybody playing on same conditions. So what is the point?

Even one box projects commonly abused by major part of players via relogging between characters.

One box limit = easy mod.
One ingame character per person = true lineage 2 experience.

I'd also enjoy 1 character per person - it would be the best experience we can imagine, but im sure it almost impossible.

How 2 realize this feature?

1) By unique hardware ID's? - ppl will easily use different PC's with diff IP's
2) By checking personal info? - ppl won't share personal info 4 sure. Even if they will - they can use another persons/relatives/friends/wives to register.

So its kind of a dream.

Sure.
In order to serve and attract “new old” audience, you have to provide the comfort for 30-90min gameplay style. Since COVID is over and LFP eats big chunk of those 30-90 minutes.
It’s make sense.

You absolutely right. In this type of environment it’s just adds up extra pressure for administration to monitor and ban singlebox violations.

Just like your mobile phone works. Auth via Face/Touch ID.
Imagine:

I have 3 PC in my room, all with different IP's.
I have 3 cellphones and sister/wife/grandmother with different surnames.

So i can use easily 3 boxes.

Its not working. Its impossible to make it fair for everyone.
I mean for the ppl who want to cheat - they 'll find a way.

Unortunately.

So i can use easily 3 boxes.
Easily? 3 PC, 3 different IP, and calling each login time for family member to proceed Auth just to be permanently banned (coz of Face/Touch ID you can't create countless new account after ban). Seems not "easily" to me.

Yet good point anyway. The solution is not perfect.

calling each login time for family member to proceed Auth...
"Hey, honey, wake up, I just got disconnected. I need your face again to login in."
I can imagine this scene for a night or two. But in daily basis, it will probably end up as a divorce.

But in the same time how difficult is this solution to be implemented in an unpopular pirate project such as Lineage 2, i suppose these Touch ID technologie are not free and not easily accessible to everyone.

And also how many people will refuse 2 share their face and won't trust such face-checking apps, so definately the online will be less and people will just leave and go to other projects w/o such complicated suspicious activities.

Dualbox would kill any server, even more low rates... I'm against more than one character/account per username at same time.

Personally i never liked the idea of multibox or even dualbox. Multibox creates too much pressure on a player who wants to keep up with others in terms of farm/level, but that also means creating unnecessary characters that you wouldn't normally be interested in playing and on top of that also paying for these boxes (if we take into the account what's written in author's post). Dualbox creates unhealthy dynamics between support and DD players, when supports are left behind and are forced to create their own DD/Support to level up.
And from what i know, Murloc dislikes the p2p system. But i guess time will tell, i can see that having 50-100 online on the server would be problematic in terms of lfp, but i believe there's gonna be more people.

I partially agree with you, but as I said earlier:
Project LOOSE “30-90min” audience.
I’m trying to highlight this group of people.

The world is not black and white.
Yeah, smart though. "not black and white" so you decided to choose... "white"? My question was why "white" is better.

As I mentioned earlier, even "one-box" limitation is an easy game mode. It's gray.

You can expect same amount of player as actual x1. A lot of people abandoned C4 and they're waiting for C1 lifetime mode.
