Question about summoners

Hi,
Since i've never played anything below interlude, just wanted to ask what is the state of summoners in c3. I've heard that there are no beast spiritshots/soulshots, is it true, and does that make them underpowered?

That doesn't make them underpowered. From what i've heard, they have increased stats in these chronicles. Might be true, might be not, i can't compare. Summoner is a loner class in C3. You can farm very effectively and not rely on anyone/anything (i saw warlock soloing mobs in toi7+), but in the grand scheme of things it's not gonna be easy to find a party unless you're a really outgoing person. Some people actually ok with that, some people play summoner because they like it, some people have plans for C4 (warlock/pony is a great asset to any party and ps can compete on olympiad and play with friends on subclass or whatever)
